Interamerican Case Study

Interamerican (www.interamerican.bg), a member of the Pan-European insurance group Eureko B.V., is the first Bulgarian insurance company, founded with foreign capital. Interamerican offers a wide range of attractive insurance solutions such as Fire and Natural Disasters, Property Damage, Casco, Mandatory liability, Accident (group and individual), Cargo, Travel (EUROCROSS), General liability and Employer liability, Agricultural insurance, Construction, and Electronic equipment.

The Challenge

Interamerican was looking for a new web-based solution to renovate the company's general insurance system. The selection process was geared around packaged software solutions, built on modern Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), which enable fast deployment of insurance products, customer-centric management system, and data migration from the legacy system.

The Solution

The new software platform encompasses the implementation of Motor, Home-Property, Commercial-Property, Travel, Cargo and other third party liabilities such as employees, doctors, hotels, etc., with IDIT™ Software Suite. The new web-based Policy Administration solution, which is built on modern Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), enables fast deployment of insurance products, backed by a customer-centric management system.
