NAIC Focus: 2019 Year-End Checklist
Hopefully the late Thanksgiving this year hasn’t distracted everyone from the idea that year-end reporting will soon be upon the insurance industry. So, while you are making your holiday shopping list and visions of sugar plums are dancing in your head (what are sugar plums, anyway?), maybe you better start planning for the changes your company will need to address between now and March 1, or April 1, or whatever filing deadline you have.
The NAIC has one more National Meeting scheduled in early December, but at this point, there are no outstanding issues waiting for a decision. Nor have I heard any rumors of unexpected items making their way onto the agenda.
